MY PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is to always put clients first. I would be more than happy to represent your interests and help you work through your legal issues. I work tirelessly to ensure you get the best outcome for your case.

What does philosophy have to do with your life?         EVERYTHING.

Philosophy is a way of thinking about the world and your unique place within it. It’s a well-thought-out system of principles and beliefs that guide you and keep you on the path to wellness, financial success, and happiness. Philosophy prevents you from making the same mistakes over and over.

You don’t need me to tell you that that path can get bumpy. Crap can come. Pitfalls and potholes can open up right in front of you and swallow you whole if you’re not mentally prepared to deal with them before they arrive. Let’s face it: Very bad things happen to very good people, all the time.

Those who do not live by a “philosophy of life” simply react to those pitfalls. Not only is it not good enough, it’s messy and exhausting. We all deserve better. Much better.

Ponder these ideas: Where you are today is a product of the decisions you have made in the past, and where you’ll be tomorrow will be a product of the decisions you made today.

Live purposefully.

Value 01.

TRUST

The first focus in my firm’s philosophy is on integrity and trust. A solid attorney-client relationship can’t exist in the absence of trust; therefore, I strive every day to foster trust that leads to a productive and mutually beneficial attorney-client relationship. While I work daily to build trust with my clients, I also strive to maintain a good reputation and trust with opposing counsel and the tribunals (judges, magistrates, etc.) before which I appear. I believe that by promoting professionalism and civility in all aspects of my legal representation, mutual respect and trust allows me to advocate effectively for my client.

 Value 02.

EXPERTISE

Excellence
I hold myself to the highest standards of quality, effort, professionalism, and timeliness.

Integrity

Darrin Andrus is one the good guys, the attorney that really does the work, not the TV attorneys. I value hard work, honesty, and commitment above all else. I care about my clients which drives me to fight hard for you.

Trial Experience

The strength of the Andrus Law comes from my extensive experience in trying cases. Not every case needs to go to trial. Indeed, it is often possible to accomplish great success

before a trial becomes necessary. However, it is the experienced trial attorney who knows what it takes to win with a well-developed and proven strategy during the litigation process.

Value 03.

SERVICE and ATTENTIVENESS

Your Needs Come First

My firm philosophy is based on clear communication and prompt service. I provide sound solutions to my clients’ legal problems in an efficient manner. I am dedicated and professional and understand your needs. Your needs come first in my client focused culture.

The Guiding Principle

I practice an aggressive, proactive brand of law. Your case will be fresh on my mind until its conclusion. Regardless of where your case stands, you can rest assured knowing that your communication line with me is always open. I believe in honest and transparent communication about the status and success of your case.

Commitment

Lastly, in my firm philosophy, I am guided by the commitment to represent all my clients zealously in the most cost effective manner, without sacrificing quality. To that end, I strive to be proactive, not reactive. In order to fulfill that philosophy, I am committed to make an early determination of the merits of each case in order to decide how a matter should be  resolved. I realize that not every case should be settled, nor should every case be tried. By focusing on the commitment to provide sound advice and counsel on specific needs, we can offer solutions that make business

Value 04.

EMPATHY and COMPASSION

Empathy

Understanding and sharing in the feelings of my clients' loss is the foundation of my practice. The ability to understand, relate to, and empathize with clients is a pre-requisite to being able to understand your needs. I believe genuine empathy is the cornerstone of effective advocacy.

Compassion

When you’ve experienced a traumatic event sometimes you want a strong, solid, compassionate person to take the reins and help. That’s what I do for you and every single one of my clients and their families.
